Happy Maids generally charges more than private housekeepers because we pay worker’s compensation, wage taxes, and insurance.Homeowners benefit from these payments, and are generally understanding of why we have to charge a bit extra to cover these benefits.

We work closely with each of our clients to develop a cleaning and service plan that is tailored to meet their needs and budget. Time estimates and costs are developed by one of our managers or owners, after meeting with you to conduct a free, in-home consultation or after a free phone consultation.
When our cleaning team arrives, they arrive with all equipment and supplies needed to leave your house or office sparkling. Happy Maids is committed to protecting and improving the environment! We use only all-natural, environmentally friendly, green products to clean our clients’ homes. Each of the suppliers we use are either Green Sealed or EPA approved. Each of our products has been thoroughly tested for its effectiveness in cleaning and for leaving behind a fresh, natural scent. If you have a preference for a specific product which you have and we do not carry, then we are happy to use that product in place of our own, just let us know.
We generally use two Cleaning Specialists for each home that we clean. If you prefer more, however, because you wish us to be in and out of your home faster, than we can work to accommodate your request. Even for larger homes, many of our customers prefer two cleaning specialists because the extra duration allows us time to do other tasks, such as laundry, etc…
Our two-person teams are generally comprised of a Team Leader and a Cleaning Specialist. They are carefully selected based on experience, dependability, trustworthiness, and their willingness to go above and beyond in support of our clients and their co-workers.
Happy Maids always send the same people to your home. We work in teams of two, so if one of the workers is ever out sick or on vacation, then we know we can always have at least one worker from the team on the job who is familiar with your home and your needs.
All our maids are European-trained cleaners, and all of them speak English.
Absolutely! Most of our work comes from regularly scheduled services, but we are always happy to take on one-off assignments. We are confident that you will be so pleased with our services, that you will have us back… again… and again. If you already have a regular housekeeper, consider trying us once as a fill-in; you are likely to find that we are incredibly thorough and you might then be tempted to book our service quarterly for a top to bottom “deep cleaning” to complement the service of your existing housekeeper. That is perfectly fine with us.
The following list of cleaning tasks represents a starting point for determining those things which may be included in your assignment. We perform all of these tasks each visit for most of our clients.
The answer could be either “Sure, why not?” or “No need, really”. We don’t mind one way or another. It is totally up to you. We often encourage customers to meet the team during the initial assignment, for their own benefit, to gain confidence about the quality of our housekeepers. Meet them, ask them to clean something a little differently, and receive a polite, “Of course”, with a smile. They really are quite different from your previous maids, and we are confident that meeting them will reinforce that impression for you.
Yes, of course (said with a smile). We often do laundry in our clients’ homes while we are there during our regularly scheduled cleaning visit.
We’re really flexible about this issue, except that we ask that you please do. Most customers start out by leaving a check on the counter. Some then find it more convenient to pay by credit card. No services will ever be charged to your credit card in advance.
No, we are a local, independent family owned and operated company. We set our own service standards, which are incredibly high, and we can provide any services we choose, wherever we wish.
